Project aim: The core aim of the SPLASH project hinges on executing a robust Train the Trainer program “SPLASH Entrepreneurial Coach” aimed at capacity building among academic and non-academic staff within universities in RIS countries. Trainer programme forms educators and shapes them into entrepreneurial coaches, who are well-versed in the latest developments and best practices in sustainable urban mobility. The scope of the program is to create a ripple effect, starting with the trainers and extending out to the broader community of students, entrepreneurs, and professionals. By doing so, the consortium aims to foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and a deep-seated understanding of sustainable urban mobility in academia.
SPLASH will act as a funnel for the Start for Future (SSF) Open Incubation Challenge.
This is envisioned to provide a solid foundation for nurturing an environment ripe for innovation and entrepreneurial growth, thus facilitating a deeper engagement with the SSF Open Incubation challenge. The subsequent series of five workshops serve as an extension targeting university students to raise awareness about the SSF Open Incubation challenge and equip them with the necessary orientation and skills to participate effectively.
EIT Urban Mobility is committed to accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility through fostering innovation and transformation, aiming to improve people’s quality of life, decarbonise mobility and make Europe’s economy more competitive. SPLASH is centered around closing the knowledge gap in sustainable urban mobility. Project activities aim to directly contribute to the development and dissemination of essential skills and knowledge required in the rapidly evolving sector of urban mobility.
Dates for activities:
Train the Trainer batch 2 – October-November 2024. “SPLASH Entrepreneurial Coach” training is intended for those who want to develop the skills of mentoring, innovation promoting, strengthening cooperation in a team, and creating an inspiring open continuous learning environment.
Training will take place as five hands-on online workshops on 2024-10-15, 2024-10-29, 2024-11-05, 2024-11-12 and 2024-11-29 15:00-18:00 EEST / 13:00-16:00 WEST time.
The main training topics are the dynamics of the start-up ecosystem, generation and validation and assessment of ideas, business models and planning, tools for presenting ideas. The language of the training is English.
